Ryan Christopher Leet

He was born on December 19, 1989 in Augusta, Maine. He was raised by his beloved grandparents Russell and Georgia Leet. He had four siblings, Shawn Brown, Brittany Mills, Sara Bachelder and Jason Brown, who predeceased him.

He was raised in Litchfield, attended Oak Hill High School and obtained his GED. He also attended Universal Technical Institute in Norwood Massachusetts, obtaining his degree for Diesel Mechanic.

He had two children, Dominic Carter (2010), Kamryn Grace (2013) with Kayla Clark. The pair remained close and were wonderful co-parents to their children.

He spent nine years serving with the US Army, spending 9 months in Afghanistan.

Ryan worked for Milton Cat as a Road Technician for over two years.

In his free time, he loved spending time with his children and supporting everything they did including sports games. He loved fishing with them, spending time at his grandparents and tinkering with Papa.

He was a hard worker, a good man and a dedicated father. He could be quite the jokester at times as well. His children were his world.

He is predeceased by his brother Jason Brown and his dog Duke.

He leaves behind his grandparents Russell and Georgia, his siblings Shawn Brown, Brittany Mills and Sara Bachelder, his favorite cousin Justin Leavitt, his in-laws Betsy and Remi Gilbert and his best childhood friend Timmy Bergeron as well as several nephews, nieces and cousins. He also leaves behind his Army brothers T. Stanley, J. Garcia, J. Aragon, C. Burnett, O. Navarro, C. Stolpa, M. Stephens, J. Meng, M. Gonzalez, J. Alaniz, A. Shivers, M. Parker and many more. He also leaves behind his puppy Enzo.

A Memorial Service will be held on December 19, 2024 at Litchfield Plains Church at 3PM with a Celebration of Life to immediately follow at the Sportsman Club in Litchfield. A Committal Service and Military Honors will take place in the Spring on May 17th, 2025 at 11AM at Litchfield Plains Cemetery.
