Lewiston-Ronald I. Michaud, 74, a longtime resident of Fair St. died unexpectedly at his home, on Saturday Nov. 8. He was born in Lewiston on June 10, 1940, a son of the late Adelard and Jeannette (Chasse) Michaud. He was educated in local schools. He proudly served his country in the US Army National Guard. Ron married the love of his life, Anita St. Pierre, on September 3, 1960. Ron worked for many years in the manufacturing industry and later on in his life did drywall, painting and construction. He was a long time member of Pathway Vineyard Church in Lewiston. Ron loved his wife, his family and most of all God. He was a true family man and friend, a “Mr. Fix It” who was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He enjoyed fishing and being a part of his church community. He loved to cook and looked forward to weekly family dinners. He was a very devoted and loving husband, spending the last seven years caring for his dear wife Anita. Ron leaves behind his wife of 54 years, Anita Michaud, his four children: Marc Michaud, Karen Michaud, Brian Michaud and wife Becky, Christine Bergeron and husband Albert; his seven grandchildren: Adam Michaud and wife Angela, Cameron Michaud, Kayla Loudermilk and husband Adam, Heather Michaud, Sierra Smith, Jordan and Hannah Bergeron; three great grandchildren, Olivia, Nathan, Sophia Loudermilk; two sisters Pauline Baita and husband Mike, Rachel Thibault and husband Roger, and many special nieces and nephews.
