AUBURN: Roger T. Morin, 62, a much loved father, brother and husband of Lewiston passed away peacefully Sunday morning at the Hospice House in Auburn. He was born in Lewiston on September 16, 1952 a son of the late Daniel and Madeline (Lagasse) Morin. He grew up in the Lewiston area and attended local schools there. He was an altar server until the age of 12 at Ss. Peter and Paul Church and was a graduate of Lewiston High School. Roger was a veteran of the United States Navy and was proud to have served his country. On September 9, 2000 he married Debra Humphrey. During that time he worked at the Sun Journal in Lewiston until his retirement in 2003. Roger will be remembered for his passion for fishing, gardening and being an avid fan of the Boston Bruins. He is survived by his wife Debra of Lewiston, his children; Jason Morin and his girlfriend Colleen Michel of Lewiston and Amanda Goodfellow and her husband Joshua of Lewiston. He also leaves behind four brothers; Richard Morin and his wife Carol of Scarborough, James Morin and his wife Betty of Lewiston, Ronald Morin and his wife Mona of Lewiston, and Robert Morin of Lewiston; two sisters Jacqueline Chouinard and her husband Gerald of Lewiston and Joan Camardese and her husband Gino of Greene as well as two grandchildren Marysa and Cameron Morin. A Liturgy of the Word service will be celebrated on Thursday December 11 at 10am at the funeral home.
