Robert H. Chartier

He was born in Presque Isle on March 26, 1930, the 9th of 11 children to Joseph and Ida (Dufour) Chartier.

Robert was a Veteran of the Korean War. He worked for Hahnel Bros. Co. for 18 yrs. retiring from Pioneer Plastics after 12 yrs.

He is survived by five children: Jean Desjardins and husband Daniel of Lewiston, Marc Chartier and wife Kelley of Turner, Gary Chartier and wife Billie of Lewiston, Neal Chartier and partner Amy Fillion of Auburn and Ronald Chartier and wife Amy of Lewiston.

Eight Grandchildren: Derek Levesque, Jordan and partner Rhianna, Olivia, Craig, Danielle Delaney and husband Jonathan, Nysa, Abigail and Spencer.

Three Great-grandchildren: Gabriel, Trace and Wyatt.

Two brothers: Richard and Albert.

Funeral services celebrating Robert’s life will be held on Friday Dec. 7th at 11:00AM in the funeral home. Committal services to follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery with Military Honors.
