He was born September 30, 1960 in Bangor the son of William and Georgette (Champagne) True.
Rich was a 1979 graduate of Fryeburg Academy.
In earlier years he played the piano, skied at Shawnee Peak with his family, and enjoyed the water. He had a dry sense of humor, enjoying making people smile and laugh. Rich was a Christian with a strong faith and loved to read his Bible. Most importantly he loved his family, always remembering to call each member on their birthday.
Rich is survived by his mother Georgette True; three sisters Rebecca Hoosier, Robin Smith, and Renee True; a brother Randall True; nieces and nephews, and a close friend Tim Howard.
He was predeceased by his father William True.
A memorial service will be held 2 pm, Sunday, May 1st at The Fortin Group, 70 Horton Street, Lewiston.
