Claudette and family, My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you during this difficult time in you life. Dick was also such a great person. Claudette I remember when you came to look for your first rent in Auburn on the third floor. I was so happy to have you both as tenants. Then Rachel was born and your first son.  I hated to lose you as tenants but very please to see you buy your first house in Sabattus. The first time I went to visit you, both you and Dick were so proud of your achievement and justifyable. He was such a hard worker. You were such a good Mom and homemaker. I willl keep you and your family in my prayers Claudette, I really miss seeing. Iam now in Ct. Have been her for 23 yrs. Our sympathies to the Therriault family as we know he will be sadly missed by them.  We at Yvon's enjoyed working with Richard.  He was a good man and good employee.  Bless you all.

My husband, Richard, was a good man who worked 2 and 3 jobs so that I could be a stay at home Mom when the children were growing up.  Even so, he rocked all our babies to sleep.  

He loved his children; especially his daughter, Rachel, who could do no wrong in her Daddy's eyes.  He was proud of his son Steven, who learned to love cars from his Dad and the business man that Steve has become and liked going to occasional car shows to support him.  He was proud of his son, Dan, who followed the Therriault family tradition and was a basketball star in high school and he was proud of the family man that he had become.

He adored his grandchildren, his adult granddaughters, Beka and Sammie and jumped at the chance to taxi them back and forth to work.  It gave him a chance to get closer to them.  He was proud that he was the one who took his grandson, Reuben for his driving test when he finally received his license.

In the past year, he had gotten closer to his brothers and sister and nieces and nephews.  He enjoyed going out to eat with them and still talked about the time his nieces, Nicole and Roxanne took him to Penneys to find him a proper suit.

He will be greatly missed but he is in heaven his brother, sister, Mom and Dad.  I promised his Mom I would take care of him when she passed away less than a year ago.   I'm giving him back to you Mom Therriault.  Take could care of him.

Pat Lawler and brothers of Auburn.... We were glad we met Dick and his brothers in the 1950s playing basketball at the Lewiston Park.  Even though we were from Auburn and they were from Lewiston we always respected each other.  We came from a large family too.  I had 7 brothers and 6 sisters.  God rest his soul.

My condolences go out to everyone. I will not forget the many times we spent together as neighbors, raising the kids. The times Danny would run up the hill with a note because it was long distance to call me next door.  The time Danny fed the dog your just made creton. The afternoons on the lawn with a drink in our hand watching the kids run around doing goofy things. How about the time Dick blew up something in the yard by accident. As the boys grew older so didn't the problems. The times when we would get together with Gail and David Bosse on Saturday nights to play cards. We've seen many neighbors pass through the neighborhood. Myself included. A new page has turned for you now. I wish you peace and love as you continue your journey without Dick.
