Richard was born on July 15, 1945, a son to John and Agnes Spaulding.
He met the love of his life, Glenda G. Spaulding and the two were married on June 25th, 1972.
During his career, Richard was employed for Bates College for over 35 years.
When he wasn't working or spending time with friends, Richard could be found working in the garage and watching his son and granddaughter race cars at the Oxford Plains Speedway.
Richard is survived by his beloved wife Glenda Spaulding, his children Richard and wife Christina, Matthew and Brandon. He also leaves behind his grandchildren Breeanna, John, Destiny, Branden Sean, Kevin and Vanessa, as well as his great grandchildren James, Jillian, Naveah, Zelia, Zeb, Liam, Jackson, Autumn, Aydin, Kallahan and his siblings Lucille, Barbara, Sherlie, David and Raymond.
He is predeceased by his parents, his grandchild Damen and his precious dogs Tucker, Max and Husky.
A Visitation at Pinette, Dillingham & Lynch for Richard will be held on Friday, June 7, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, followed by a Funeral Service at 6:00 PM.
