Norm was born on March 31, 1965 to Rosalind and Norman Berry Sr.. Norm graduated from Leavitt Area High School in 1983.
In 1985, Norm met the love of his life, Linda. They married on September 10, 1988, and spent the next 36 years building an amazing life together. Norm and Linda went on many road trips, attended many concerts and never hesitated to plan a last minute adventure. No matter what they did, they were always together. Every part of their life was filled with great music, turned up way too loud.
Together they had two daughters, Jessica and Jennifer. Norm spent his life fiercely dedicated to “his girls”. He filled their lives with laughter, music and great memories. He was their go to for advice and loving support. Norm’s love of family multiplied many times over, starting with the second love of his life, his granddaughter, Gabrielle. Since then, Norm was blessed with four grandsons who filled his life with all the joys of boyhood.
In recent years, you could find Norm sitting peacefully with a pile of boys at his feet, while watching in awe of his now teenage granddaughter. He was so proud to be their Papa.
Norm had an incredible work ethic. He started his career as an ambitious food service salesman. Over the years, he and Linda went on to own several restaurants and a convenience store. After many years of entrepreneurship, he returned to the food service industry as a district sales manager and retired from Dennis Food Service in 2023.
Even in life’s deepest challenges, Norm handled himself with grace and dignity. He was a humble man who was eager to talk about anything but himself.
Norm leaves behind a gaping hole in the hearts of so many. Norm was predeceased by his father and mother. As well as his father-in-law, Andre Lachance. He is survived by his wife, Linda Berry.
