Melissa “Missy” McElfresh, 51, passed away January 6, 2022 at the Central Maine Medical Center, Lewiston, Maine. She was born September 5, 1970 in Akron, OH the daughter of Harry and Melinda (Scheck) McElfresh.

Most recently Missy was the assistant general manager of the Hilton Garden Inn in Auburn, Maine. Prior to that she was with the Doubletree Hotel in Leominster, Massachusetts as the Food/Beverage/Catering Manager.

Missy loved her work and enjoyed spending time with her many friends, camping, shopping and relaxing. Her special companion was her four-legged friend Cherokee, a gentle and mischievous Rottweiler.

She is survived by a loving companion Dan Folks; her mother Melinda (Mindy) McElfresh & her companion Don Mosser; two brothers Michael McElfresh & wife Paula; Harry McElfresh II; and niece Stormy and nephew Colt both of whom she adored. Aunts, Jennie Rodriguez, Rose McElfresh; Uncles, Jack Scheck and Marty (Cindi) Scheck.

Missy was predeceased by her father, Harry; Grandparents, Jean and Jack Scheck and Earl and Margie McElfresh and Uncle, Gary McElfresh.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
