LEWISTON - Linda L. Long, 61, a resident of 20 Great Falls Plaza, Auburn died unexpectedly Tuesday evening at Central Maine Medical Center. She was born in Lewiston, July 7, 1945, the daughter of John J., and Medora Celia (Robideau) Wiswell.She attended Auburn schools, and was a 1964 graduate of Edward Little High School. Following her schooling she worked as a nurses aide at Marcotte Home, and then started a family. She was a volunteer in the Auburn School system, and was active in New Auburn Little League where she �ran the snack shack.She had also been employed as a retail assistant manager of 16 in the Maine Mall for seven years.At the time of her death, she had been employed as a before and after care supervisor for Trinity Catholic School. Survivors include two sons, Eric G. Long and his wife, Trina Bacon of Lewiston, and Darin W. Long of Auburn; one sister, Marilyn Hawley and her husband, Donald, Sr., of Mechanic Falls. Also surviving are 2 grandchildren. She was predeceased by one sister, Lois. LONG died in Lewiston, May 15, 2007, Ms. Linda L. Long age 61, a resident of Auburn. A Celebration of Life Service honoring her life will be held TUESDAY 4:00PM from the Memorial Chapel of Dillingham & Son with Chaplain Kathleen O'Wril presiding.
