AUBURN: Jeanne D’arc Rose Biron, 96, of The Woodlands 45 Mollison Way in Lewiston died Monday September 12, 2016 at the Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice in Auburn. She was born in Lewiston on June 12, 1920 a daughter of the late Napoleon and Melina (Pomerleau) Rodrique. She grew up in the Lewiston area and attended Lewiston schools. On May 31, 1941 she married Lionel M. Biron in Lewiston and the two started a family together. She was a member of Holy Cross Parish.
She is survived by her four daughters; Diane Lavertu of Lewiston, Claire Biron of California, Claudette Vail of Colorado, and Rachel Moine of California, and her two sons; Normand Biron of Texas and Larry Biron of Missouri. She also leaves behind 21 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and a sister, Anita Baribault of Lewiston. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 63 years, Lionel and a son, Ronnie Biron.
Visiting hours will be held at Fortin\Lewiston on Friday September 16, 2016 from 4-7pm. A Liturgy of the Word Service will take place on Saturday September 17, 2016 also at the funeral home at 11am with committal prayers following at St. Peter’s Cemetery in Lewiston.
