To My Dear Husband,
On August 29, 1980, I married the most wonderful man I could have asked for. You cared and provided for a widow and her children for the next 42 years. Along the way, we gained grandchildren, extended family members and numerous friends who made our family complete.
I proudly watched you follow your passions as a finish carpenter and a paramedic. You devoted your time to mentoring others, sharing your knowledge and your heart. You saved so many lives in so many different ways. Your benevolence will live on in others for many years to come.
It was difficult to leave you at the hospital, more difficult to sleep without you. This week, we celebrate Valentine’s Day, my birthday and your life, all without you. I will always be grateful for the love you showed me and I will hold you forever in my heart.
Rest easy, my love.
Your wife, Pat
