Delia A. Dumont

AUGUSTA- Delia A. Dumont, 43, of Augusta died Monday May 17, 2010 at Maine General Hospital following a long illness. She was born in Lewiston, Maine on March 15, 1967 the daughter of Joseph A. and the late Lucille (Rancourt) Jalbert. She was educated in Lewiston schools and was a graduate of St. Dominic Regional High School and a graduate of the Central Maine General Hospital School of Nursing and was currently employed as a registered nurse for the Winship Greens Health Care Facility in Winthrop. Delia spent most of her life in pain but never let it stop her from being a good wife, raising three children, holding a job to support her family. She was the epiphany of a hockey mom for her three children, giving them every opportunity to play the sport no matter what. She will be greatly missed by her father, step-mother Lilianne both of Lewiston; She also leaves one son Cameron of Turner; two daughters Shaelie and Courtney both of Augusta; Delia's new love and companion Chris Smith; two brothers David and Dominic Jalbert both of Auburn; two sisters Delores Grondin and her companion Richard Hussey and Diane Jalbert all of Lewiston; an uncle, an aunt and cousins. NOTICE Dumont- Died in Augusta Monday May 17, 2010. Delia A. age 43 a resident of Augusta. A Funeral Mass honoring Delia's life will be celebrated on Friday 11:00 AM at Holy Cross Church.
