Brooke Lynn Grenier died, June 11, 2009 in Vero Beach, Florida. She was born in Lewiston, July 12, 1985, the daughter of Rock Grenier and Tawny Grenier. She graduated from Edward Little High School in 2003. She was a member of the track and field team and a competition cheerleader at EL. Brooke loved the yearly tradition of ice fishing on Moosehead Lake with her dad. She spent many hours with her mom baking cookies, going to the beach, and cheering. Brooke was generous in many ways, especially in her love for her sister, sharing many long sisterly talks and slumber parties. She was proud of her culinary creations taught to her by her stepmother. Brooke was a beautiful girl with a contagious laugh that she shared with several friends. Brooke had a passion for animals, particularly her dog, Burberry. At the time of her death, Brooke was attending college in Vero Beach, Florida, pursing her nursing degree. She was the store manager at Gold Buyers. She is survived by her father, Rock and his wife Linette Grenier of Mechanic Falls, her mother Tawny Grenier of Vero Beach, Florida, sister Tiffany and her husband Kamal Somaru of Florida, stepbrothers Todd and Jamie Lyons of Auburn, maternal grandparents Donald and Marie Bragdon of Florida, and many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents Earl and Lucille Grenier, her maternal greatgrandfathers Donald Bragdon and Alfred Grounder, and her Uncle Dennis St. Hilaire, who she admired dearly.
