Barbara J. Hecker

Auburn-Barbara J. Hecker 72, of Bartlett St. Lewiston died Monday January 21, 2013 from complications of Lung Cancer. She was born in Lewiston on January 7, 1942 a daughter of the late Lucien and Mildred St. Amand. Surviving family members include her husband Gerard Hecker of Lewiston, a sister Phyllis Parks of Brunswick, her four children Larry Hecker of VA, Deborah Libby of Lewiston, Lucien Hecker and his wife Cheryl of GA, and Kathleen Fickett of Lewiston, as well as countless grand and great grandchildren. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of St. Mary's ICU as well as The Hospice House for their compassion and care given to their mother. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday 1/28/2013 at Holy Family Church at 9 AM. Committal will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.
