Ann Marie Shannon

Ann Marie Shannon passed away unexpectedly at her home in the early hours of January 17th, 2024. At the young age of 54, we were not ready to lose her. Ann was ready to be with her father, who was predeceased in 2019.

She made it her life mission to make him proud, from buying a safe car for herself and her family, to finally moving into a townhome at Tall Pines in Lewiston, ME. Ann was born at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, ME on September 17th, 1966. Ann grew up in Sabattus, ME, and graduated from Oak Hill High School. Her life’s work was to help and care for others. She worked for many years in nursing and residential facilities. Through her work, she made many wonderful friends and people she would consider part of her family. Ann was a woman of family, she made close relationships and held her loved ones close to her heart.

A large part of who Ann was, is her Husband, Timothy Shannon. Ann and Timothy have three grown children together and were married for almost 32 years. Together they have two daughters, Aimee Shannon, 24, Renee Shannon, 21, and a son, Connor Shannon, 18, all of Lewiston, ME. She loved her family with every fiber within her. She was also very close with her Mother, Patricia Raymond, and sister, Lisa Raymond of Sabattus, ME.

Ann is a woman of love, she will live within all of us as a person that would help all of us before herself. Ann loved to allow her creative mind to flow with coloring and writing.

Services for Ann will be held on March, 9th 2024 beginning at 10:30 AM. She did not enjoy the cold so we will honor her the best way we know how in the spring, when the butterflies are out. She will be honored at St. Phillips Church located at 2365 Turner Rd in Auburn, ME. Ann will be missed by so many people, and we hope she knows that she is and will always be loved.
