He was born in Lewiston on November 13, 1931 a son of the late Aime L. & Corinne (Chabot) Morin Sr. He attended local area schools, graduating from St. Dominic High School as a member of the graduating class of 1951. He was also an inductee of the St Dominic Hall of Fame in 2009 and the Lewiston & Auburn Sports Hall of Fame in 2002.
He served with the US Navy from 1952 to 1956. He then was employed as a police officer for the Lewiston Police Department. He served as Treasurer for Ste. Marie Federal Credit Union for 26 years and had retired in 1995.
He enjoyed playing hockey, basketball, football and baseball. He helped form a hockey league "Cardiac League" from ages 50 to 60. Aime was a professional boxer who was the New England Golden Gloves Champion. He then taught amateur boxing to many local youth including Joey Gamache.

He is survived by his two children Theresa A. “Terry” Roux and her husband Eugene “Gene” of New Gloucester, ME and Ronald M. Morin and his wife Melissa of Bedford, NH, his four grandchildren Kim, Tianna, Mya and James and a great granddaughter Madison, as well as a special cousin Dee Dumais; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Visitation on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 from 1–3 pm at Pinette, Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home, 305 Alfred A. Plourde Parkway, Lewiston. A memorial service with military honors will follow at 3 pm at the funeral home.
Burial in St Peters Cemetery, Lewiston, will be private.
