Born in Delaware County and raised in Bristol, Bill was a 1963 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School.
Bill began his career in auto repair while working at Reedman's and in 1973 opened Bill Worrell's Auto Body in Levittown which he operated until May of 2018.
Bill enjoyed spending time at his part time home in White Haven, PA. He was an avid outdoors man who enjoyed fishing, riding his ATV and target shooting. He also enjoyed the times he spent on his boat in Belmawr, NJ and riding and caring for the various horses he owned over the years.
Beloved husband of Bernadette (Armstrong) for 55 years, Bill was the loving father of Bill III (Nancy), Michael (Kim), Bernadette Field (Mike) and Jake (Brooke) and the devoted grandfather of Nicole, Billy, Nadine, Jenna, Kevin, Ashley, Ella and Jacob.
Bill will also be missed by his brother, Bart Worrell and many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Family and friends are invited to call from 9 a.m. until 12 noon on Friday at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown where his funeral service will be held at 12 noon. Interment is private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38175.
