William E. Sebald of Bensalem died on Friday, February 16, 2018 at Jefferson Torresdale Hospital. He was 95.Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Sebald has been a resident of Bensalem and member of St. Ephrem parish for 40 years.He was an extremely proud World War II Army veteran serving 5 years in the European Theater, Battle of the Bulge, Ardennes, Rhineland and Central Europe with the 193rd Field Artillery Battery C Unit.He spent forty years in sales and installation with Columbia Boiler Company.William had a natural talent for art especially drawing and sketching. He enjoyed fishing with his grandchildren and in later years enjoyed weekly trips to the casino to play the slot machines with his daughter, Jan.He will be lovingly remembered as a family man who loved and adored his wife until the very end.Mr. Sebald is the beloved husband of Lorraine (Rawlings) Sebald and the loving father of William E. Sebald Jr. (Diane) and Janice Brennan (John).He is the devoted grandfather of Daniel Brennan, Kristen Hensley (Beau), Meghan Brennan (fiance, Kyle De Vivo), William Sebald (Amy), James Sebald and Rebecca Sebald and great grandfather of Julie Brennan, Reese and Roman Hensley, Will and Hayden Sebald.Family and friends are invited to call from 10 until 11:30 a.m. on Monday at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown where his funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
