He was 66.Born in Brooklyn, NY, Bill has been a resident of Langhorne for the past 25 years.Until 2006, Bill was employed for 36 years with General Motors and was currently employed with the Pennsbury School District for the past 6 years.He was an avid fan of NASCAR and the New York Yankees and also enjoyed the sport of bowling with the Morrisville Bowling League with his son.Bill was a 3rd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Saint Joseph the Worker Council, 4215.Beloved husband of 33 years to Kathleen A. (Garcia), Bill is the loving father of William R. and Ashley N. McCorry.He is the son of the late Edna (Boyd) and Harold McCorry and brother of the late James McCorry.Family and friends are invited to celebrate Bill's life on Wednesday, March 1st, from 6:00 until 8:00 pm and on Thursday, March 2nd, from 11:30 am until 12:30 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 2nd. at 12:30 pm. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bill's name may be made to the Gift of Life Program, 401 N. 3rd Street, Philadelphia, PA 19123.
