William F. "Bill" Kogut died suddenly on Monday, December 11, 2017 at the age of 47.Beloved husband of Jennifer L. (Sevenski), Bill is the loving father of Kylie, and son of Helga M (Mettler) Kogut and the late William F. Kogut.He is the dear brother of Kathy Kogut (John Horsky) and Maria Shinkunas (Kevin) and devoted uncle of Jack, Collin, Sean, Brady and Avery. Bill will also be sadly missed by his extended family.Raised in Langhorne, Bill was a 1988 graduate of Bishop Egan High School. He achieved a Bachelor's Degree in Communications at Rider University and later went on to achieve a second Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering at Temple University. Bill was a hard worker. While working for Stryker Medical Devices, Bill earned several accolades including Top Sales Representative of the year and the Highest Annual Growth award. More important to Bill than his work was the love of his family and friends. Bill adored his wife and daughter. His face would light up whenever he was with Kylie, and he shared a special bond with his wife of many years. Bill was also a devoted son and brother. He would drop everything to help his family and was the life of every family gathering. Bill had a true passion for animals and those who knew him understood that his many dogs were also considered to be part of his family. To his many friends, Bill was fiercely loyal. He remained friends with those from grade school, high school, and college. He considered them to be an extension of his family and loved each and every one. With his family and friends, Bill enjoyed many hobbies. He loved skiing, scuba diving, boating, fishing, playing beach volleyball, and watching his favorite sports teams. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hiking with his daughter and dogs. He also enjoyed spending days on the beach. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Sunday, December 17, 2017 from 2:00 until 5:00 pm and on Monday, December 18, 2017, from 10:00 until 11:00 at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his funeral service will be held on Monday, December 18, 2017 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne.The family encourages everyone to wear their favorite jersey/shirts in honor of Bill's love of the Philadelphia Sports teams.
