William W. Duffield

William W. Duffield of Levittown died on Friday, March 1, 2013 at Aria Hospital Bucks Campus. He was 77. Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Duffield has been a long time resident of Levittown. He enjoyed being outside helping his neighbors and lending a hand to others. He will be remembered as a hard working husband, father and grandfather who was always quick with a joke and always had a smile His family was his life and he would do anything for anyone. Mr. Duffield was the beloved husband of Ruth (Winter) Duffield for 55 years. He was the loving father of William Duffield (Joanne), Christine Harris (Scott), Cheryl Garcia (Maurice) and James Duffield (Erin). He was the devoted grandfather of Allison, Ashley, Alex Marie, Abbie, William, Taylor, Jillian, Scott, Julissa, Rachel, Jadyn, Kyrstin, Collin and Michael. He will also be sadly missed by his brother Louis Duffield and numerous nieces and nephews. William was predeceased by a daughter Ruthann. Family and friends are invited to call on Monday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown. Friends are also invited to attend a graveside service on Tuesday, 11 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Park, County Line Rd., Feasterville.
