Wayne MitchellWayne Mitchell passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Saint Mary Medical Center, Langhorne, at the age of 65.The loss of our beloved Wayne is life altering for our family. He was the heart, the supporter, the clown. He was a loving presence always and cherished his family. We will hold him in our hearts and treasure his memory forever.He was a friend to many and the best "Pop-Pop" ever. He adored his grandchildren.Wayne loved his pets, Molly, Penny, Maia and Red. Wayne always looked out for unwanted animals.We were lucky and blessed to have him in our lives and now we are lucky and blessed to have him as our guardian angel.He was a retired Union President in the newspaper industry.Wayne is survived by his wife and best friend, Karen; son, Sean Mitchell (Amber); daughter, Laurie Noble (Matthew); and grandchildren, Liam, Kailynn and Brandon.He is also survived by his siblings, Rona, Brian (Joyce) and Scott Mitchell; brother-in-law, Lane Miller; and nieces and nephews, Katie (Jason), Patrick (Chrissy), Joshua, Charlie, Colleen, Joe, Florence, Julia, Jared and Evan.Wayne was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Mitchell and his parents, Edward and Florence Mitchell.Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, from 1:00 until 3:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm.
