Timothy D. McCarthy Timothy D. McCarthy passed away surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at his home. He was 71. Born in Allentown, PA, Mr. McCarthy was a long time resident of Levittown and a member of Immaculate Conception Parish and the Men of Malvern. Mr. McCarthy was a 1960 graduate of Cardinal Dougherty High School. He coached CYO football for Immaculate Conception, girls softball for Bristol Township and also was a coach for 20 years for Levittown International Baseball. Mr. McCarthy was a district manager for the Tree of Life, a specialty food distributor for many years. He proudly served as a Lance Corporal in the US Marines. Preceded in death by his son, Steven McCarthy, Sr., Mr. McCarthy was the beloved husband of Annamae (Burns) and the loving father of Timothy McCarthy and his wife, Brandi; Douglas McCarthy and his wife, Lorraine; Kenneth McCarthy; Laura Stout and her husband, Jason and Andrea Gana and her husband, Tom. He will also be sadly missed by his 12 grandchildren, one great grandchild, his devoted sister, Betty Ann McGuigan and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, from 3:00 until 5:00 pm and on Monday, form 9:00 until 10:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, 10:30 am at Immaculate Conception Church. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Compassionate Care Hospice, 3331 Street Road, Suite 410, Bensalem, PA 19020.
