Steven J. Pelle (Pearl) Steven J. Pelle (Pearl) passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2012 at his home in Newtown. He was 75. He was born in Ewing Township, NJ, and had lived in Levittown prior to residing in Newtown. Mr. Pelle graduated in 1955 from the former Delhaas High School and greatly enjoyed working on the reunion committee for the past 25 years. He was an antique car and car show enthusiast as well as a former judge for the Antique Automobile Club of America. Mr. Pelle loved to travel to various destinations especially Hawaii, Disney World and his home in North Wildwood, NJ. Steve was a real estate broker for 35 years. Through the years, he also became an appraiser. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anna (Lindenthal) and Giovanni Pelle, and his infant daughter, Tina Elaine Pearl. Mr. Pelle was the beloved husband of 55 years to Elaine (McBride); the loving father of Steven D. Pearl (Lucy) of Levittown, Barbara Cowan (William M. Jr., Esq) of Newtown, Donald W. Pearl of Philadelphia and John J. Pearl (Tracy) of Willow Grove and the devoted grandfather of Joanna Pearl, Tiana and Michael Cowan, Isabella Pelle, and Thomas, Daniel and Sean Mungavin. He is also survived by his siblings, John Pearl of Seattle, WA, Joanne Olczak (Robert) of Bessemer, AL, and Nancy Feeley of North Wales, PA, his uncle, Harry "Walt" Lindenthal and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, from 2:00 until 5:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, 10:00 am at Queen of the Universe Church, 2443 Trenton Road, Levittown followed by Rite of Committal in Beechwood Cemetery.
