Steve, a man of simplicity and traditional values, wholeheartedly embraced his role as the family provider. His commitment to his loved ones shined brightly through his enduring marriage to his beloved high school sweetheart, Joan, with whom he shared the bonds of matrimony for more than forty years until her untimely departure.
Steve's memory will be forever honored by his children, Jason, Craig, and Keith (Nicole). His joy as a Pop-Pop to Kayla, Jayden, and Jaxon was unmatched. He leaves behind his devoted parents, Maurice and Dorothy, and siblings Donna, Larry, and Pam. Preceding him in passing were his cherished son, Stevie, and his wife, Joan.
In his professional life, Steve's hands skillfully transformed houses into homes as he installed doors, windows, and siding with Brown's Doors and Windows. Each installation was a testament to his meticulous care and desire to provide for his family.
Steve's love of the natural world led him to the Penn Warner Club, where he found solace in the quiet of fishing, and to the Laurel Hill Hunting Club, where he enjoyed the camaraderie with fellow outdoorsmen. His support for the Philadelphia sports teams was well-known, "Go Birds!"
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation Tuesday March 18, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM , with an open floor funeral service to follow at 7:30 PM, where stories and memories of Steve's impactful life will be shared at the James J Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA.
