Born September 12, 1946 in Sunbury, PA, the daughter of late John "Cliff" & Thelma Haught, was a long time resident of Levittown prior to moving to Perryopolis 26 years ago.
A devoted mom that loved spending time with family and friends, in her spare time enjoyed gardening and with her artistic flair created many unique works of art throughout her life. Those that knew her, also knew her love for sports cars and motorcycles in her earlier years.
Beloved wife of the late Stanley and mother of the late Sherri Nelson, Sandy is the loving mother of Michael J. Nelson (Shelby) and Jennifer Smythe (Phil); and the devoted grandmother of Justin, Alyssa and Jacob.
Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, October 17, 2020, from 9:00 until 10:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where her funeral service will be held at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem.
