Born in New York City, he was a recent resident of the Langhorne area. He was a graduate of John Jay College of Criminal Justice. He served with pride and distinction with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey Police Department for 29 years before retiring. Rudolph was an avid fan of the New York Yankees, the New York Giants and the News York Jets. Rudolph enjoyed listening to jazz and 70's music, and was known as a "Dancing Fool" by those who knew him. He enjoyed boxing, and played handball and racquetball.
He will be missed by all who knew him.
Predeceased by his parents, Albert J. and Elma (Shepperd) Charles; his grandson, Michael; and his siblings, Robert, Richard, Brenda and Dorothy; he is survived by his devoted wife Martha; his children Quintin, Jason (Angelique) and Michele (Howard); his grandchildren, Mansa, Jaesun, Maverick, Harleigh, Jaxon, and Kiara; his sister, Elaine and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 from 5 pm until 8 pm at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at 10 am at Queen of the Universe Roman Catholic Church, 2443 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA. Cremation will be private. There will be no calling hours on Wednesday morning.
