Rosemary Malisheski 'Rose' passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, November 7, 2022. She was 86. Born in Nanticoke, PA she attended Nanticoke High School and worked various jobs until she received her GED. Her compassionate spirit guided her to further her education where she received her diploma as a Licensed Practical Nurse and began her lifelong career and passion - caring for others. Rose worked as an LPN at Lower Buck Hospital caring for her patients for over 30 years. Following her 'retirement' from the hospital, she continued to work for her cardiologist Dr. Adiraju who was her mentor and dear friend.
Rose met her future husband Valentine, 'the handsome Marine', they were married in 1956 and were blessed with two children and three grandchildren. She treasured time with her grandchildren from camping trips to amusement parks to simply having conversations when they were young adults; she always knew what to say to heal the heart and build confidence.
She was a very kind, caring and generous person who was a devout Catholic where her love for our Lord was beyond measure. Rose deeply cared for her relatives, friends and neighbors and always made you feel welcomed and loved. She was also an enduring pet owner and animal lover.
Rose was a proud volunteer with her political affiliation for over 50 years. She recently served on the board of auditors for Falls Township and held various appointments with the Pennsbury school board along with her lifelong friend Arlene. Her natural altruism was remarkable and compelling. Rose will be dearly missed, but her memory will live in all of those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years Valentine, father Richard, mother Anna, stepfather William and brother Emil. She is survived by her daughter Valerie (Tom), son Gerard and her sister Mary Jane.
