Born and raised in Riverton, NJ, Rob was a 1979 graduate of Palmyra High School. After graduating he went on to earn his BA from Rutgers University. He was a dedicated and hardworking operations manager at Four Quarters Plumbing, Heating & Air-Conditioning, Inc. for over 20 years.
Throughout his life, Rob enjoyed many things. In earlier years he coached his children's sports teams and cheered them on from the sidelines. He was also an avid Philly sports fan. He loved camping, being outdoors, and was a founding member of the Buck Ridge Hunting Club, where he also served as secretary. Rob was a talented woodworker and had a passion for various types of carpentry. He created beautiful keepsakes for his family and friends. He was also a proud Civil War and history enthusiast. Rob was always there for anyone who needed him. Over the years he "adopted" many of his children's friends.
Rob is the beloved husband of nearly 39 years to Ellen M. (nee Nicolo) and loving father of Nicole Robinson (Michael), Carrie King (Adam), Colin Taylor (Aubrey) and Eric Taylor (Anna). He is also survived by his parents, Donald R. and Patricia N. (nee Nash) Taylor; his grandchildren Kylie, Braiden, Logan, Taylor, and Bradley; and his brothers Tom (Martha) and Bill (Sandy) Taylor. Rob will be deeply missed by his best friend, Pete Cahill, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Rob was predeceased by his grandson Dalton and his sister Laura.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet his family on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 from 9:30 AM to 11:45 AM at Our Lady of Calvary Church, 11024 Knights Road, Philadelphia, Pa 19154 followed by his Funeral Mass at 12:00 PM. Interment Private.
