Robert M. Kelly

Robert M. Kelly of Levittown passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2015 with his family by his side. He was 51.Born in Philadelphia, Bob resided in Northeast Philadelphia for many years before moving to Levittown 21 years ago. He was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Parish.Bob spent his career working in the IT field for various companies including Prudential and the IRS.He loved gardening and will be remembered as a faithful friend who was always smiling and had a great sense of humor.Bob was the beloved husband of Kathleen for 22 years and the loving father of Patrick and Bridget.He was the son of Anne Marie (O'Brien) Kelly and the late Robert J. Kelly and was the brother of Christopher (Lisa), Anne Marie, Kathleen and Kevin.He will also be missed by his father-in-law Lawrence Gallagher and numerous nieces, nephews and members of the Gallagher family.Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday from 3 until 5 p.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown. Friends may also call on Monday from 9 until 10 a.m. at St. Michael the Archangel Church, 66 Levittown Parkway, Levittown where his funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Interment is private.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to plant a tree in Bob's memory would be appreciated to the Arbor Day Foundation, 100 Arbor Avenue, Nebraska City, NE 68410 or at www.arborday.org.
