Robert S. Huff

Robert S. Huff of Levittown passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at St. Mary Medical Center surrounded by his family He was 74.Born in Watertown, NY, Robert was a long time resident of Levittown where he graduated from Neshaminy High School in 1960 and was a member of Emmaus Road Church.He was a proud U.S. Navy veteran serving during the Cuban Missle Crisis and was a member of the American Legion Post #436.Robert was a dedicated pipefitter and member of Steamfitters Local #420.An avid bowler and member of the USBC, he was the former owner and operator of the pro shop at Levittown Lanes.Robert is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Cheryl L. Huff and loving daughters Deena McCormick (Mark) and Tara Hesington (David).He is the devoted grandfather of Anthony, Chandler, Connor and Cullen McCormick and Chloe Hesington.Robert is the brother of Allen Huff, Trish Johnson and Connie Jann and will also be missed by numerous nieces and nephews and his best friend Bud Ulmer. He was preceded in death by his parents Stanley and Monica Huff and his brother Danny.Family and friends are invited to call from 7 until 9 p.m. on Tuesday and 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown where his funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Rosedale Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, National Processing Center, PO Box 758541, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8541
