Richard V. Truitt Richard V. Truitt of Trevose died on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at Statesman Nursing Home. He was 80. Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Truitt has been a resident of Trevose for the past 37 years. He worked for Ferag Inc. for 27 years until retiring. He was an avid reader and especially loved spiritual books. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren and most of all he was proud to be a friend of Bill W. for 42 years. Mr. Truitt was the beloved husband of Georgianna (Donato) for 39 years. He was the loving father of Debra Siri (John) and the devoted grandfather of Scott, Heather and Derek. He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Margaret as well as 2 brothers and is survived by 3 nephews Joe, Tom and Frank. Family and friends and friends of Bill W. are invited to call on Saturday, from 10:00 am until 12:30 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his memorial service will be held at 12:30 pm. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Statesman Nursing Home, 2629 Trenton Rd., Levittown, PA 19056 in Richard's memory.
