Richard E. Johnson Sr. of Tullytown died on Friday, April 27, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family. He was 74.Born in Bristol, Mr. Johnson was a life long resident of Tullytown and a life member of the Tullytown Fire Department where he served as a past Chief.Mr. Johnson worked for the Lower Bucks County Joint Municipal Authority for over 20 years before retiring in 2016.He enjoyed country line dancing and riding his motorcycle.Beloved husband of the late Helen S. Johnson (Vandine) he is the loving father of Richard E. Johnson Jr. (MaryAnn) and Rachel Omlor (Joseph) and is the devoted grandfather of Cody Richard Johnson and Amanda Leigh Johnson.He is the brother of Betty Lou Johnson and Susan Johnson.He will also be missed by his beloved dog, Jagger.Family and friends are invited to call from 9 until 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at the Tullytown Fire Company, 100 Bordentown Rd., Tullytown, PA 19007 where his funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Interment is private.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Fox Chase Cancer Center, 333 Cottman Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19111 or the Tullytown Fire Company
