Born on April 13, 1951, Raymond grew up in Fairless Hills and attended Bishop Egan High School. After completing his education, Raymond embarked on a successful career, starting at US Steel in 1969 and dedicating 13 years of service until 1982. He then transitioned to Congoleum Flooring, where he worked for an impressive 31 years until his retirement in 2017.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Raymond had a vibrant personality and a wide range of interests. He adored his grandchildren and cherished the time he spent with them. Raymond's love for Philadelphia sports, particularly the Phillies, was unwavering. He found joy in solving crossword puzzles and honed his skills as an avid golfer.
Raymond Menendez leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
He is survived by his son, Raymond Menendez IV and stepson, Anthony DeCristoforo. Raymond also leaves behind beloved grandchildren, Penelope Menendez, Giovanna, Angelina and Anthony DeCristoforo; his sister, Dolores, Taylor; brother, Joseph Menendez; niece, Carol Van Bramer; and nephew, Jimmy Taylor.
Raymond was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Menendez (nee Lasich); his father, Raymond Menendez Jr.; and his loving wife of 38 years, Tina Menendez (nee Ceriani).
Raymond Menendez will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. His memory will forever be cherished, and his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
