Mr. Vitale was a hardworking man who dedicated 40 years of his life working at Pathmark. Over his career he held various positions, proudly working his way up to upper management. Ralph's infectious smile is a constant reminder that joy is found in the simplest moments. In every step, he danced through life, leaving a trail of warmth and positivity wherever he went. Ralph's hobbies included cooking, hunting, fishing, admiring classic cars and meeting up with friends at the gym every morning. He had an incredible talent for baking and it brought him tremendous joy in making favorite desserts for his family, especially during the holidays! But most of all, Ralph cherished spending time with his grandchildren.
Ralph was the beloved husband of 55 years to Mary A. (nee Sikora); cherished father of Susan Grant, and her husband Brian and Christine Ocasio, and her husband Tito. He was the loving "Dampy" of Jaime Christie (Evan), Brianna Fleming (Beau), Zachary Grant, Vanessa Ocasio, Alexis Ocasio, and Mia Ocasio; and Great Dampy of Dylynn Mae, Charlee Jayne, and soon to be born great grandson Colton Anthony. Ralph will also be deeply missed by his sister Antoinette McLauchlan (Stuart); nephews Jeff McLauchlan, Joe McLauchlan (Shannon); and his grand dogs Bentley, Gracie, Finn and Bailey.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 from 8:00 am until 10:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA 19056. His Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Bensalem.
