Pearl S. Douglas

Pearl S. Douglas died on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at Wedgewood Gardens Care Center in Freehold, NJ. She was 93. Born in Philadelphia, Mrs. Douglas was a longtime resident of Fairless Hills. She has resided in Freehold for the past year She was a member of the Falls Township and the Bristol Township Seniors. She also volunteered many years with Seniors Helping Seniors, an organization that provided home care to Pearl in her later years. Mrs. Douglas was employed in child care for many years in the Lower Bucks County area. Beloved wife of the late James F. Douglas, Mrs. Douglas was the loving mother of Kathleen Reilly and grandmother of Sean and Shannon. She will also be sadly missed by her longtime friends the DiGiacomo family in Freehold, NJ. She was preceded in death by her friend and long time companion Harry Ghegan, who passed last year. Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, June 13, 2015 from 9:00 until 10:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown where her funeral service will be held at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in Saint Benedict Cemetery, Conshockhon, PA.
