Patricia C. Carroll

Patricia C. Carroll Patricia (Callahan) Carroll (Little Pat) of the Kenwood section of Levittown passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2011 at Saint Mary Medical Center, Langhorne. Born September 27, 1932 in Philadelphia to James and Isabel (Moffitt) Callahan, she lived in the Mt. Airy section of Philadelphia before moving to Levittown. She graduated from Little Flower High School, class of 1950. She later received her Associates Degree from Bucks County Community College. She was a service representative for Bell Telephone for over 30 years before retiring in 1995. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, vacations at Long Beach Island, and the company of her friends in the Bridge Club. She was an avid reader, scrabble player, and even dabbled in painting. She is survived by her children Ellen and Tony Gallo of Wilmington, DE; Lisa Carroll; Marianne and Frank McQuaid of Philadelphia; Peter Carroll of Levittown; James and Deborah Carroll of Delran, NJ; Celeste and Stephan Augustin of Levittown; Paul and Taylor Carroll of Parkesburg, PA; 18 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, James and Margaret Callahan of Oakland, CA; her cousins Ellyn DeGuida, Karen and John Hatcher, and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, 6:00 until 9:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, 10:00 am at Saint Michael the Archangel Church, 66 Levittown Parkway, Levittown, PA 19054 followed by Rite of Committal in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. There will be no calling hours on Friday morning. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Saint Mary Medical Center for their wonderful care and compassion. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Patricia's name to the Saint Michael the Archangel Church Memorial Fund at the above address.
