Pat was born on March 11, 1936, in Beaverdale, PA to Sam Kakabar. She is the oldest of three sisters, Alice Snelling, and Betty Frank (d). Pat was predeceased by her husband, from Ehrenfeld PA, Harvey Brewer. She is survived by their four children James Brewer m. Ann Brewer (d), Pamela Schiavo, Tracy Thompson m. Robert Thompson and Penny Marrazzo m. Joe Marrazzo and 18 grandchildren.
Moving to Morrisville, PA in 1963 Pat worked for Nabisco Bakeries for 36 years, where she made the infamous Oreo Cookie as well as lifelong friends and travel buddies. Pat enjoyed country line dancing, cruising around the Caribbean and coffee trips to Dunkin Donuts, with her beloved dog Dunkin. Traveling was by far her most treasured of hobbies whether it was all around the United States, to the islands, annual Myrtle Beach vacations with her grandkids or her happiest place, back home in Beaverdale.
Known for being a wonderful grandmother to her nine grandchildren, Katie, Jimmy, Stephen, Beth, Lindsey, Corrin, Lisa, Chelsea, and Jodi and to her nine great grandchildren, Paige, Shaylin, Grace, Joey, Landry, Lincoln, Wyatt, Harper, and Hazel she will be dearly missed.
From her extensive traveling to spending time with her close neighbors, Pat will be missed by all who knew her. The family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life not the sadness of her passing.
A private ceremony will be held with close family only.
Donations can be made in her honor to the Beaverdale Public Library, P.O. Box 606, 506 Jefferson Avenue
Beaverdale, PA 15921.
