Patricia J. Bender

Patricia J. Bender, 73, of Levittown went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 28, 2010. Daughter of the late Patrick and Annie (Broden) McMahon and devoted wife of the late James "Russ" Bender. Devoted mother of Nancy, Susan, Jimmy, Kevin and Tricia and daughters-in-law Brenda and Tracy. Proud Grandmother of Tony, Russell, Jackie, Susie (Meade), Tralyn and Dylan and great grandbaby Carmela. Sister of Teresa, June, Jimmy and the late Joan and her Frankie Also survived by her special niece, Sen , and numerous other nieces and nephews. Mrs. Bender was a long time active member of St. Michael the Archangel church where she taught CCD and was a member of the Sodality. Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown. Friends may also call on Wednesday from 9:00 until 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael the Archangel Church, 66 Levittown Parkway, Levittown where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Rite of Committal will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
