Nevin Wayde Rovenolt Nevin Wayde Rovenolt of Levittown, PA passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at Vitas Hospice House at Nazareth Hospital in Philadelphia. Born in Danville, PA, the son of the late Ruth E. (Eyer) and Nevin Woodrow Rovenolt, and raised in Paxtang, PA, Nevin was a former resident of Harrisburg and Lewisberry before moving to Levittown in 1976. Nevin was employed with the US Postal Service for 34 years. A US Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, he was a member of Saint Joseph the Worker Parish of Fallsington. He was an active member of the Falls American Legion Post 834 (present Adjunct and Past Commander), 40/8 Voiture held formerly position of Grande Chef DeGard. He was also a member of Cheminot National, Hobo Clown (Pockets), VFW 6495 - Billington Post and the Falls Township Environment Board. Nevin served as a Committee member for Boy Scout Troop 168 and was District Commissioner of scouting in the Bucks County Council. Nevin will be sadly missed by his wife of 43 years, Margaret (Borocz); his children, Nevin Michael and wife Lori, Christopher Michael and his wife Marcy, Amy and her friend Ron Cline and his three children; his grandson Matthew Callahan and his girlfriend, Courtney Dyott; his great granddaughter Leila Callahan (all of Levittown); his sister Wanda Newhouse and her husband Larry of Harrisburg and his many wonderful friends. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Sunday, 1:00 until 3:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown and also on Monday, 11:00 until 12:00 pm at Saint Joseph the Worker Church, 9172 New Falls Road, Fallsington, PA 19054, where his Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 pm. Rite of Committal will follow in Washington Crossing National Cemetery. Memorial contributions in his name may be made to Saint Joseph the Worker Church at the above address.
