She was born May 28th 1973 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Mary Lou Russo (Ellis) and Matthew Werynski, and her stepfather Joseph Russo. Michele graduated from Harry S. Truman high school in 1991 and later attended West Chester University.
She left her legacy to her loving husband James Patrick Fay Sr., her first born son James Patrick Fay Jr. (Samantha, Leighton), her beautiful daughter Elizabeth Nicole Fay (Andrew), and her youngest Daniel Joseph Fay. She is survived by her loving brothers and sisters, Matthew, Steven (Nicole, Blair, Lydia), John, Matthew, Addison, Michael, Christie,Collin (Jaime, Jameson, Lola), Macie, Tristan, Melissa (William, Delaney, Darby, Rylee), Melinda (Jeffrey, Chris, Conner, Emily), and her stepbrother and sister David and Danielle Russo. As much love and caretaking as she gave to each person in her life, she also shared that same love with countless fur babies throughout the years.
Her lifelong career was being the best mom, homemaker, warrior, and bad ass bitch for her family and any person who stepped into her life. She volunteered her time relentlessly throughout the community including but not limited to Penndel Athletics, Neshaminy Youth Sports, OLG CYO, OLG CCD teacher, and many more.
Shelly was a dedicated fan of laughter, love, and good times with friends and family in a full house each time the opportunity arose. She loved watching and attending Philadelphia sports games with the entire Werynski crew, she loved to dance the night away, and she loved to help everyone and anyone in any possible way she could. As a true angel and friend to anyone who needed one, she left a lasting imprint and legacy on all of us that she asked us to live out for her. Spread kindness each day, and try your absolute best to Live Like Shelly.
