Michael David Plassa

Mike was born on January 23, 1964 in Philadelphia, PA, to parents Michael J. Plassa and I. Theresa Plassa (nee Pontarelli). He graduated from Pennsbury High School in 1981. Mike had a decades long career with Verizon, though his true passion was in emergency services as a volunteer with Yardley-Makefield Fire Company for over 40 years. When he wasn’t spending time with his family, Mike could often be found at the gun range in his free time.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Jody Plassa (nee Edinger); his loving and devoted sons Michael Plassa and Daniel Plassa; his sister Stephanie Plassa (Victoria Hunt); and his brother Tom Plassa (Ina Travis Plassa).

A celebration of life for Mike is scheduled for Saturday, August 12, 2023, at 12:00 until 5:00 pm at the Yardley-Makefield Fire Company, Station 0, 105 S Main St, Yardley, PA 19067.
