Michael Robert Phipps Michael Robert "Big Daddy" Phipps died suddenly at his home in Morrisville on Saturday, May 17, 2014. He was 45. Born in Bristol Township, the son of Herbert and Linda (Jerrold) Phipps, Michael has been a life time resident of Lower Bucks County, and was a graduate of Truman High School, Class of 1986. All of his adult life, Michael was a mechanic, most recently employed with Highway Tire in Mount Holly, NJ. He enjoyed cooking and NASCAR and had a great passion for the Kansas City Chiefs football team. He adored his dog, "Shugga Pie". Michael is survived by his parents, Herbert and Linda; his sister, Tina Phipps; 6 nieces and nephews; his former wife, Alyssa J. Phipps; cousin, Shannon Bullaro; and his best friend, Robert Sharp. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. Interment will be held privately.
