Michael Gowen

Born in Corpus Christi, TX, to the late Lillian E. (Burns) and George R. Gowen Jr., and brother of the late Wayne (Danielle) Gowen .

Michael is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 40 years Marie (Funsten) and loving father to their three sons Michael, Brandon, and Austin.

Michael was a devoted and loving grandfather (Poppy) to his eight grandchildren Bobby, MiaRae, Aubrey, Gianna, Taylar, Marisa, Aidan, and Vanessa.

He is the dear brother of George, Gerald (Donna), Gregory, and Marie Dress (Charlie). Michael will also be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews and other family members.

Michael was a long time resident of Levittown in Middletown Twp. and was a 1974 graduate of Neshaminy High School.

For many years, Michael was a hard working and talented union carpenter with Local #1074 in Bucks County and Philadelphia.

Michael had a great love for fishing and became a lifetime member of Long Beach Island Fishing Club.

Michael will lovingly be remembered as a person who was always there to help his family, friends, and neighbors. He was very much loved and will greatly be missed by many.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the family will celebrate Michael's life at a future date.
