Michael R Donchak passed away peacefully Thursday evening at Oaks of Bensalem. He was 93.Born in Shenandoah, he was the son of the late John and Mary Donchak.Michael was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Julia, two sisters Mary Faunce and Anna Smetana and four brothers, Steve, George, and John Donchak and infant brother, Joseph.He is survived by three sisters Susan Enders, Irene Flaherty, and Elizabeth Andrijiw, daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ann and Dr. Fizul Bacchus of Delaware, a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Mary Donchak of Levittown, and grandchildren Andrea and Michael Bacchus. Michael was also an uncle and great uncle to a host of nieces and nephews.Michael was a resident of Levittown for 64 years. He was a man of faith who often prayed the Rosary. He worked as a heavy equipment operator (local 542) and retired at 69 then worked part time at North TEC in Bristol Township. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus and enjoyed fishing, watching football on TV, telling jokes and doing crossword puzzles. He was a U.S. Army Infantry veteran.Family and friends are invited to call from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at Queen of the Universe Church, 2443 Trenton Rd., Levittown where his funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m Rite of Committal will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, please pray the Rosary for our father.
