Michael J. Bolli Sr.

Michael J. Bolli Sr. of Levittown, PA passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Jefferson Bucks Hospital. He was 72.Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Columbus Michael Bolli and Sophie (Dombrova). Mike's greatest joy was his children, grandchildren, and camping. He was the biggest Philadelphia sports fan. Through the years Mike coached Queen of the Universe CYO baseball, basketball and football. For many years he coached football for Bishop Egan High School.Mike was a proud US Army Vietnam War veteran and VFW Life member. He was a Past Commander and Home Association President for the VFW Post 6495, Levittown, PA.Mike will be deeply missed by his devoted wife of 50 years, Barbara (Eckert). He was a loving father to Michael Jr., Stacey Lynn (Bolli) Schafhauser (Joseph) and Christopher (Honey). Amanda, Madyson, Michael, Sofia, Mackenzie, Riley, Christopher Jr., Rocco, and Lucca will miss their "Weasel" (Pop-pop) and his ability to always make them laugh and feel safe. He will also be missed by his brother Dominick Bolli (Ruth); sister Pat Williams (Buddy) and his extended family.Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday, September 13, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his funeral service will be held at 8:00 pm. His committal service will be held on Friday, September 14, 2018, at precisely 11:00 am, at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA. A procession will form on the funeral home parking lot Friday, September 14, 2018 at 10:00 am and will leave by 10:15 am.
