Maryellen Baker (76) of Bensalem, PA went to heaven on Sunday, October 17th, after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis. She was surrounded with love by her husband, Edward (Ted), and 3 children. She grew up in St. Boniface Parish, raised her family in St. Martha’s, was a member of St. Ephrem for the last 25 years, and was an active member of the Senior Citizens Club.
Maryellen is survived by her loving husband and caregiver, Ted, and her children, Edward Jr. (Michele), Marysue Costanzo (John) and Helenanne Baker-Barton (Chris).
She was the sister of William Welsh (Susan) and Susan Houlihan (Jack).
She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren Dominic (Maegan), Matthew, Gianna, Nicholas, William, Elise and Cecilia and a special aunt to Marykate, Sean (Kristy) and Bill Houlihan.
Maryellen enjoyed gatherings with friends and family and did not allow M.S. to stop her.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Friday, October 22, 2021, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown, PA 19056 and Saturday from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. at St. Ephrem Church, 5400 Hulmeville Rd., Bensalem PA 19020 followed by a Funeral Mass at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be private and at a later date.
