Mary Zadnik

Mary Zadnik Mary Zadnik of Fairless Hills died on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at St. Mary Medical Center. She was 93. Born in Donora, PA, Mrs. Zadnik was an original Fairless Hills home owner for 61 years and was an original member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, going on casino trips and gardening. She was also an excellent cook. Family was most important to Mary and she will be fondly remembered as a loving and caring woman. Mrs. Zadnik was the wife of the late William J. Zadnik and mother of the late infant Gerald. She was the loving mother of J. Richard (Becky) Zadnik of Levittown, William F. (the late Linda) Zadnik of Yardley and Beverly J. Sherlock of Fallsington. She was a devoted grandmother of John (Bronagh) Zadnik, Karen Gana, Sandy Zadnik, William L. (Nicole) Zadnik, Mary (Stephen) Marquis, Donna (Kevin) Dutcher and Nicholas Sherlock Jr. and great grandmother of Colin, Matthew, Brittany, Amanda, Cailey, Gavin, Silas, Brianna, Meagan, Stephen, Delaney and Madeline. She was the sister of Ann Spadafore of Monesson, PA and the late Helen Ivill, John and Charles Maranich and will be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call Sunday from 7 until 9 p.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown. Friends may also call on Monday from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home where a Panachida service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Her funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church followed by interment at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery.
