

Mary E. Tengalia passed away, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Jefferson Bucks Hospital in Langhorne at the age of 89.
Born and raised in the Brewerytown section Philadelphia, Mrs. Tengalia has been a resident of Lower Bucks County for the past 67 years and was a member of Saint Michael the Archangel Church in Levittown.
For many years, Mrs. Tenaglia was involved with the former Woodrow Wilson High School Touchdown Club.
Mary loved her role as a mother, grandmother, great grandmother and took great joy being with all her children. She was truly the "neighborhood mom". Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.
She loved watching football and was a big Eagles fan. Over the years, she, along with her husband, Albert, owned several businesses including Tags Pizza, Tags Tavern, a trucking company, and a 7-11 franchise in Bensalem.
Beloved wife of nearly 70 years to the late Albert J., Mrs. Tenaglia is the loving mother of Sue Ann Breen (James), Emidio "Meade" Tenaglia (Robin), Michael Tenaglia, Dina Hutchinson, Phyllis Hunt (Brian), Marco Tenaglia (Cheri) and the late Anne Marie Maziarz (late Bob).
She is the devoted grandmother of 25; proud great grandmother of 36; and the dear aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Tenaglia is predeceased by her daughter, Anne Marie Maziarz (late Bob); granddaughter, Lauren Tenaglia; and brothers, William and Joseph Armstrong.
A funeral mass for both Mary and Albert, who died on February 10, 2021, will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Queen of the Universe Church, 2443 Trenton Road, Levittown, followed by the Rite of Committal in Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown. Family and friends may call from 10:00 am until the time of mass.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mrs. Tenaglia's name may be made to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphia, TN 38105.
